Fanatec reveals steering wheel successor
The big hardware news of the week was Fanatec’s replacement of its McLaren GT3 steering wheel.
Since losing the licence to manufacture the CSL Elite McLaren GT3 V2 Steering Wheel, Fanatec has spent time reimagining a budget-friendly rim, with the end result being the CSL Steering Wheel GT3.
It looks pretty much the same as the outgoing McLaren wheel, and with an equally cheap €199.95 asking price. This makes it something of an entry-level bargain, albeit a fairly unimaginative one, on Fanatec’s part.
