iRacing releases comprehensive GT3 updates

Although iRacing’s 2025 Season 3 Update was rather thin on content (it included the Ferrari 296 Challenge, The Bend Motorsports Park and Gen 4 NASCAR stock cars), the sim waxed lyrical about the huge GT3 overhaul it’s implemented.

iRacing’s GT3 tyre model and aero properties have been heavily revised to help the cars drive more realistically than before, where spikes in tyre temperature caused cars to spin out far too easily.

Early impressions suggest the changes are a revelation, which is good timing considering the rise of LMU’s LMGT3s in recent times.
