iRacing Special Event controversy

Split 22 of the 2025 iRacing 24 Hours of Spa will go down in esports history, as controversy once again reigned in one of the platform’s Special Events.

While Team Redline dominated Split 1 of the GT3 race, in Split 22, the three 00r0 team drivers came under fire for deliberately taking out their fellow racers in prolonged and sustained assaults. 

iRacing took the unusual step of publicly referencing the incidents, with the three pro-level drivers in question (two of whom are children), banned indefinitely from the service.
