Project Motor Racing showcases licensing issues

Project Motor Racing’s latest teaser footage treated sim racers to a couple of interesting tidbits. The first was the reveal of the Aston Martin DBR9, which joins the game’s GT-heavy lineup of cars, and the second was the unveiling of Silverstone.

Or rather, the track had the same layout as Silverstone, but was instead called ‘Northampton’, suggesting that PMR has perhaps struggled to obtain a licence for the track.

What’s more worrying, however, is how rough the game’s visuals looked in the footage ahead of the game’s release this autumn, even despite it being an alpha build.
