Wreckfest 2 is set to take a new approach to career mode

Early Access crash-em-up Wreckfest 2 is progressing nicely under the stewardship of Bugbear Entertainment, but so far, little has been said about its career mode.

However, last week the Finnish studio revealed a slightly re-jigged approach to the sequel’s single-player, focusing on a more real-world-inspired career path.

Split between ‘Racer’. ‘Bonebreaker’ and ‘Crasher’ paths, players can race in national, regional, continental and international events, with difficulty increasing incrementally.

If you prefer more serious rallycross-style action, for example, you can stick to ‘European Racing’, which will mimic the Scandinavian folk racing scene. Don’t worry, though, there’s still plenty of opportunity for demolition derbies…
