Thrustmaster’s T248R released

Thrustmaster has launched an updated entry-level sim steering wheel, eschewing direct drive to forge ahead with its hybrid belt and gear-driven T248R.

The wheel is compatible with PC, PS4 and PS5 and priced from £269.99, also including a set of T-3PM pedals.

It only outputs around 3 Nm of torque, so its performance isn’t comparable to most sim racing wheels on the market, but its entry-level status means it’ll sell well and act as a gateway product for newbie sim racers.
